08 Oct 2027 - 10 Oct 2027 Parade Ground & Mall Road, Lansdowne Lansdowne
The Lansdowne Autumn Festival is a unique celebration in the serene cantonment town established by the British in 1887. Named after the then Viceroy Lord Lansdowne, the town is the regimental centre of the Garhwal Rifles. The festival celebrates both the military heritage and the natural beauty of this quiet hill station. Events include visits to the Garhwal Rifles Regimental Museum, heritage walks through colonial-era churches and buildings, folk music evenings, and nature trail excursions through dense oak and pine forests. The festival also features local artisan exhibitions, painting competitions inspired by the scenic Tarkeshwar temple trail, and bird watching walks in the Tip-n-Top area overlooking the Shivalik ranges.
