Nainital Winter Carnival

The Nainital Winter Carnival is organized to attract tourists to the Lake City during the winter season. The multi-day carnival features boat racing competitions on Naini Lake, cultural performances at the Boat House Club, and a food festival showcasing Kumaoni delicacies. Music concerts, dance competitions, and talent shows are held at various venues along the Mall Road. The carnival coincides with the Christmas-New Year period, adding a festive atmosphere with decorated streets and special events. Nature walks around the lake, bird watching excursions, and heritage walks through the colonial-era buildings are organized. The carnival brings warmth to the chilly winter evenings of Nainital.
