Rishikesh International Film Festival

The Rishikesh International Film Festival (RIFF) is an emerging cinema celebration set against the spiritual backdrop of Rishikesh. The festival screens independent films, short films, and documentaries focused on themes of spirituality, ecology, adventure, and Himalayan culture. Filmmakers from India and abroad submit works exploring mountain life, sustainable tourism, yoga culture, and conservation. Panel discussions, masterclasses by industry professionals, and filmmaker interactions are organized. The riverside screening venues offer a unique cinematic experience. The festival promotes regional filmmaking talent and encourages storytelling about the Himalayan communities.
