About the Trek

A trek to the base of the magnificent Panchachuli group of five peaks (6,312m - 6,904m) from Munsiyari. The trail passes through the Darma valley, ancient Bhotia villages, and offers some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in the Kumaon Himalayas.

Things to Carry

Heavy warm clothing, trekking shoes, sleeping bag, tent, trekking poles, rain gear, water purification, first aid kit, altitude medicine, ILP documents

Permits Required

Inner Line Permit from SDM Munsiyari. Forest permit from Pithoragarh Forest Division.
